Our School Governors:

Gerda Loosemore-Reppen
Gerda sits on the Pupils, Parents & Community committe. She is an LEA appointee and is our Link Governor. Gerda works as a free lance health and social care policy and research consultant. Her clients span the voluntary and statutory health and social care sectors. Her interests are in the disability field, especially deafness and visual impairment. In her spare time Gerda holds the following voluntary jobs: Concert Secretary, Bromley Philharmonic Choir; Vice Chair Consumer Forum, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; and, Vice Chair Orpington Liberal Democrats.
 

Victoria Hannabuss
Vicky Hannabuss is a parent governor who sits on the Resources sub-committee.
 

Sally East
Sally is a community governor who is the Chair of the Curriculum & Achievement sub-committee and also sits on the Resources sub-committee. Sally is an Associate Lecturer & academic consultant at the Open University.
 

Lydia Buttlinger
Lydia sits on the Resources committee and is an LEA appointee. Lydia recently won a seat on the local council representing this ward.
 

Steve Cobb
Steve is the Clerk to the Governing Body
 

Mike Carney
Mike is a community governor who will be sitting on the resources sub-committee.
 

Jennifer Haines
Jenny Haines is a parent governor with special responsibility for Safeguarding. She sits on the Pupils, Parents and Community sub-committee.
 

Nancy Thompson
Chair of Governors, Blenheim Primary School. Recently, Nancy was elected unopposed as a Primary Parent Governor Representative to the Children and Young People Services Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee. As such, she will be representing all parents within London Borough of Bromley. The Children and Young People Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee examines Executive decisions and develops and reviews policy on the Council’s children and young people functions. These policies include the development of various plans, including the Education Development Plan, and working with partner organisations and groups. The parent governor representative in this way helps to hold the local authority to account for its decisions. As a Parent Governor Representative Nancy will act as a non-political voice for all parents, representing to the Local Authority the main education issues which concern parents of pupils in schools maintained by the authority. Nancy will also give feedback to parents on discussions and decisions related to education issues.
 

Sharon oakes
Sharon is the governor with responsibility for SEN and is chair of the Pupils, Parents and Community sub-committee. Sharon is a stay at home mother who also volunteers at school working in the library and reading with students. Sharon has two children at Blenheim.
