4th March is World Book Day.  Here in school will be holding many different events to celebrate reading!  We have been asking the children to write reviews on their favourite book.  These will be collected together on World Book Day and from the five best recommendations the school will buy copies of the books which will then be placed in the library for others to enjoy.

There will also be a Reading Raffle where - at any point throughout the day - when a child is spotted reading they will be rewarded with a raffle ticket.  At the end of the day there will be a raffle draw with books as the prizes.

At the end of the day, Storytime will take on a different slant.  Classes will be swapped around so the children will hear some-one different reading to them.
